BLACK GOLD CYCLING start back in 2008, we started off making cycling hats out of recycled materials. Soon after bike tubes came into the picture and the rest is what it is today.

Black GOLD CYCLING is built on the premise of hard work and dependability, BGC was created to highlight the local, urban cycling scene. Our goal is to "Flood the City with Bikes” and culture: bikes, races, videos, products, events, art, music and anything bicycle related. With the East and West both having representation, we intend to place the Third Coast on the map. BGC is about all types of cycling (Road, Mountain, Cycle Cross, Triathlon, BMX, Track, Fixed Gear, Single Speed and even the Unicycle. We all share one common interest and that is we all need a tube to ride a bike, unless you use a tubeless tire or a sewup.

First of all I would like to say “Rubber is Hard to Sew!” you have to have patience and create a technique. Every tube has to be cut and sewn together. Each tube is different and every product is its very own unique piece of art work.  It has once traveled a short or rather great distance before it is recycled and turned into the products that we make. Buy purchasing BGC products not only have you saved these materials from going into your local land field but you have made a smart decision to do your part to help Mother Earth.

BGC will stand behind its products with its “brand new second hand” life. BGC will repair manufacturing defects for free. BGC will offer a quote to fix any accidental damage of a product that may occur during its “brand new second hand” life.
